Edge Journal

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

This policy explains what information Edge Journal collects, how it is used, where it is stored, and the third-party services that help run the app. We aim to keep this short and clear.

What data we collect

We do not collect financial account numbers, brokerage credentials, or payment card details directly. Payments (if applicable) are handled by Stripe, see "Third-party services" below.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to provide the service: to sign you in, to display and sync your journal across devices, to power features like analytics and the Edge Companion AI assistant when you use them, and to support and improve the app.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your trading entries for advertising.

Data storage

Account data and journal entries are stored in our Supabase cloud database, which uses encrypted connections in transit and at rest. Each user's records are scoped by row-level security so other users cannot read your data. Journal data is also cached locally in your browser so the app works offline.

You can delete your account by contacting us at the email below; this removes your stored journal entries.

Third-party services

Each service has its own privacy policy that applies when you interact with it.

Your rights

You can update your full name, username, email, and password at any time from the Settings page. You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing the address below.
